Peeping tOms are the first attempt to answer the question: In what space do viewer and photographer meet?
Derived from the act of framing, Peeping tOms are spatio-ocular devices designed to transform the experience of perceiving a photographic work. Reestablishing the intimacy between the observer and the observed, the device invites a second delayed act of voyeurism, one that is often lost with traditional framing techniques.
This was the first prototype produced for Beirut Design Week 2015 in collaboration with Bernard Mallat.
